Start with silhouette and fit
Explain the shape you want for each garment: hoodie, T-shirt, crewneck, trousers or another streetwear piece. Provide measurements and show the intended fit in your references. Terms such as oversized or boxy are useful starting points but need dimensions to become a manufacturing brief.
Specify fabric feel and GSM
Describe the composition, target GSM and drape you want. GSM is a fabric weight measurement; it does not establish the quality of a finished garment by itself. Rastify Gears can develop fabric around composition and GSM requirements. Confirm the proposed material and sample instead of assuming a fixed fabric range.
Develop decoration and finishing
Discuss screen printing, puff printing, embroidery, chenille or 3D / puff embroidery for your artwork. Stone wash and acid wash are also confirmed techniques. Supply placement dimensions and references, and confirm the compatibility of the proposed finish with your chosen fabric.
Review the collection brief
Use a sample to review fit, fabric, construction and decoration before agreeing the brief. Share your quantities, size range, destination and target dates with the team. Confirm project-specific minimums, timelines and commercial terms when requesting a quote.
